TSG provided consulting services to the Workforce Board of Eastern Arkansas in developing the framework for and assisting in the grant writing for the Board’s proposal for local share of $5 million statewide TANF improvement investment funds with a focus on the Two Generation, Social Determinants of Health model with integration to Workforce Opportunity Investment Act focus areas of Youth Work Experience (ages 16 to 24) and Work Experience for low income mothers, literacy improvement and improving Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services referrals to and from the Board.
The Workforce Board was awarded a $700,000 grant for such work and TSG assisted in the implementation of the grant and also developed the Two Generation Assessment Tool that is being used by the Workforce Board in assisting clients with referrals to community based services and tracking performance measures.
TSG senior consultants also provided Motivational Interviewing training for the Workforce Board staff.
